Original vintage 1960’s hagstrom Viking hollow body in excellent playing condition. Made in Sweden by real Norse elves under the fjords. A bit Gibson es-335, a bit fender Coronado, a bit silvertone 1454, the Viking was a killer hollow body, and this example plays particularly well. The neck is arrow straight and super fast, frets excellent, and she’s light, supple, and responsive in the hands. Good strong output from the original hagstrom made single coil pickups, for a very dearmond gold foil -ish tone. Excellent with an old fender super reverb.
Cosmetically, she’s been through it; no closet Classic this one. While all of the ‘59 Les pauls were under grandad’s bed, this old girl was hitting the clubs, and getting played, as the good ones do; earning lots of finish wear along the way. She’s super crackly, spidery, and almost stained-glass shattery; a super stoney patina, and a real mojo monster. She ships in the original hagstrom chip case, not pictured. Enjoy!
