When I first acquired this amp almost 10 years ago I emailed Morgan Amps and Joe emailed me and said it was the first amp he built, which ultimately began Morgan Amplification. He was nice enough to invite me down to his factory and allow me to make a video telling me more about the amp, the history of Morgan Amps and also autographed the back of the amp. This video is linked below.
The Morgan JMI Reissue has been out for a few years now (designed by Joe after a couple years of my interview with him), this is the original. The amp is about 30 years old and is in excellent condition, the only notable wear it shows is the 8 ohm output screw needs to be screwed back on, the stickers indicating the ohm load are partially peeling off and a small bit of the tolex is starting to peel off on the back left side of the amp cabinet. The amp is all original, sounds great and is a really cool piece of rock n' roll history. Also open to trade for another cool piece of music history.
