Man, do I even have the emotional strength to describe this guitar? Probably not. This started out as a USSR made electric guitar from the 70s or maybe 80s? It’s impossible to tell. It was just a husk when I got it so I added all the stuff you see here. Much of the hardware is new, mostly stuff I had laying around the workshop. It had so much room behind the bridge that I added a strat pickup back there to enhance the “resonant frequencies” of the sympathetic strings. It’s a pretty weird sound. There’s a video below where I mess with them a bit.
The new silverfoil pickups sound great and it’s a very good sounding and easy to play guitar. The guitar, of course, also looks kind of like poisonous cat barf which is totally my fault. I have these ideas sometimes which I should absolutely NOT listen to but I do anyway and we end up talking about stuff like this.
THAT SAID, if you are a front man who wants to attract all of the attention while you play terrible noises and upset all of your band mates this might possibly be the guitar for you. There is some age to some of the parts and the body has some finish checking lines but it is solid as a rock No case but I will pack super well.
