Are you a Fender/Squier Jazzmaster owner that wants to install thunderbird bass pickups in your guitar? Did you watch that Puisheen video? Well, today's your lucky day because I'm selling this pickguard and pickup set that will allow you to create your very own "Thunderblaster"!

The custom parchment Decoboom pickguard is in excellent unused condition and still has the protective plastic on it. It is sized to fit on most Fender AVRI/USA Spec Jazzmasters and Squier Classic Vibe Jazzmaster models. Installing the actual pickups will NOT require routing in most cases; they should drop into most jazzmaster pickup routes without any issue. The pickup cutouts on the guard are slightly larger than the pickups themselves to allow for easier adjustment when they are in the guitar.

The pickups are vintage style Alnico 5 thunderbird bass pickups (these are not from Gibson or any renowned boutique aftermarket winder). The neck humbucker DCR is rated at approx 8K ohms and the bridge humbucker DCR is rated at approx 9.3K. All pickup mounting screws are included.

You will receive the pickguard, the pair of pickups and pickup mounting hardware.

Feel free to ask me any questions about this item.

Returns are not accepted, 48 contiguous USA shipping only
