Achillies Ophion 2x12 Celestion G12M Greenback Black / Silver Eye Cloth Speaker Cabinet

Ophion Series cabinets are the next generation in pro audio gear. Our focus was to develop a cabinet that sounded as powerful as a 4x12 quad with one thing in mind, reducing the size and weight but not the overall tone and feel of a 4x12. After many hours of fine tuning and tweaking various cabinets the results were astonishing to our ears. The Ophion's unique back design allows only a minimal amount of air volume to be released per compressed second compared to a middle or top open back cab. The cavity of the cabinet is designed in such a way that while sound waves are echoing inside, increasing resonance is amplified producing a much louder and punchier cabinet than standard 2x12 speaker cabinets. The Ophion series is your next choice, for when you don’t want to cart around that bulky 4x12 Quad.

Top quality, great value

I wanted a 2 x 12 to match to my Fargen Olde 800 MkII 25 watt head. Labros was happy to answer my questions to make sure I chose the right cab for my needs. The workmanship is second to none, clearly a hand made product made by someone dedicated to providing the best in both quality and materials. I loaded the cab with a Celestion Gold and a Celestion G12-35XC Limited Edition. The sound is tight and punchy, it hits hard but has enough 'airiness' to provide the extra dimension that (in my opinion) closed back cabs don't have. It has given me exactly what I wanted, a great looking, great sounding hand made cab a cut above the rest.
Ophion 2x12

I recently purchased an Ophion 2x12 with 75w Creambacks. Having read nothing but positive reviews and comments online, I thought I'd give it a go and I wasn't disappointed. The cab is an absolute piece of artwork and sounds every bit as good as it looks. Can 100% recommend Achillies amps for your next cabinet!
