This Danocaster Esquire is owned by Nathaniel Rateliff
This guitar was toured with heavily and Rateliff affectionately named it "Joni" while out on the road due to its blue color and "how effortlessly it shines." It was originally supposed to be a backup for a Danocaster Olympic White Telecaster on the Tearing at the Seams tour but earned its own place in the set for its "straightforward, bright tone."

The pickup selector works in the middle position and bridge position, but acts as a kill switch in the neck position. This guitar is well balanced and lightweight.
