York National Cornet Serviced Ready to play Cool Horn Includes mouthpiece and case
This is a player with a rich warm sound and excellent vintage look.  
  • Excellent Condition
  • Serviced - Chemical and Ultrasonic cleaning. New felts. Ready to play.  
  • SN 191942 - Made in 1954
  • Bell diameter 4 3/4 inches .475" Large Bore, Nickel Plated Pistons

Function

  • Everything works and is complete
  • Valves are Smooth and spring back well - Very smooth valve movement
  • All slides move well
  • Strong compression on all valves
Finish
  • The original lacquer looks great with a nice dark patina. Lacquer has a few wear spots but it looks good. locations.
Sound
  • Has a nice dark sound. Very pleasing.  
Mouthpiece - Unmarked vintage short Cornet mouthpiece. Fits the horn well. It's close to a 5C.

Case
  • Solid alligator-style leather case in good condition.  
  • Some wear at corners and contact points.
  • Looks good.
