zvex lofi loop junky $599
A one-of-kind looper. Formerly owned by the late Philly guitar master Jef Lee Johnson (George Duke, the Roots, Esperanza Spaulding, Soul Aquarians, Common, McCoy Tyler) It gives your recorded phrase a lofi sound like it was recorded on an old tape recorder. This one was in Jef’s live arsenal and it’s in great working condition. When I bought it I was hoping there would be a Jef loop in there, but alas the battery had died. It runs on one 9v battery.
LFLJ is a 20-second analog phrase-sampling looper with very low fidelity, frequency response that cuts off at 2.6 kHz, brick-wall compression, hiss, distortion, and a warped-record vibrato feature that makes your guitar sound like an ancient radio transmission, but your direct guitar sounds especially sparkly. Pedal Dimensions (LxWxH): 4.70" x 2.38" x 1.82" Don’t miss out on this slice of music history for your pedalboard.
