An axe for the masses. The Ibanez GRX40 GIO is a breathtaking guitar which is packed with potential. Containing three Infinity pickups, including a humbucker and two single coils, it delivers a wide range of tones which will give you the power to make any genre sound superb. A GRX maple neck allows for slick playing, offering smoothness and pristine playability. And a T106 tremolo bridge lets you add as much vibrato to your riffs as you can muster. Designed for experienced players and beginners alike, this well-crafted guitar is a shining example of Ibanez's ingenuity and keen eye for detail.

Infinite tone
Unleash your creativity. With three quality pickups at your disposal, you’ll have access to a huge range of sounds to experiment with. There’s the bridge humbucker, which offers a high output, crunchy tone with plenty of bite, and the neck singe coil, which is warm, smooth, and rich, whilst maintaining plenty of punch. Then there’s the middle single coil, which offers a nice balance between the two, helping you coax out the very best from riffs. Armed with this thunderous trio, you’ll be able to write stellar music.

Prime playability
Super smooth. With a GRX maple neck in your hands, your bass will sound spectacular. That's because maple has a bright, punchy resonance, which helps to push your notes through the mix and emphasise them. It's also comfortable to play, allowing your hand to manoeuvre down the jatoba fretboard with total freedom. Given that playability is so important in a bass, this guarantees that you'll be satisfied whenever you play.

Superb tuning stability
Want reliability? You got it. The hardware on the GRX40 is pristine and durable, helping to keep it fighting fit and performance ready. The T106 tremolo bridge helps to keep your strings singing in tune and your resonance strong. But that’s not all. It also facilitates use of the whammy bar, so you can add some classy vibrato to your riffs whenever you feel like it. This is a high quality guitar at an affordable price point – perfect for players of all levels.
