I took an HSS Strat and gave it some personality. Dulled back the finish. Replaced the stock loaded pickguard
with a mint green SSS type. Rewired it with some alnico V pickups, CTS pots, treble bleed, .022 cap, and a push/push tone pot for 7 pickup combinations. Cavity is fully copper shielded. Flipped the output jack. Straplocks installed.
I also aged all the hardware, including the tuner buttons. Removed some of the poly from the fretboard for a much faster, smoother feel. Rolled the edges of the board, and treated the neck with some linseed oil. Feels smooth and broke in. Not sticky. Really nice.
Shimmed the neck with a .5* angled maple shim. (I do not use micro tilt, ever) Fully set up with a new set of 9's. This is a great player, and has a much more vintage look than it did originally. The alnico pickups are a vast improvement over the stock ceramics IMO.
No case.
Last pic is what it looked like when it came to me.
UPDATE: Just added a video today.

If actual cost of shipping is less than listed, I issue a partial refund, except on negotiated prices. If you are unsure, or want a specific shipper, contact me first. I will use the least expensive service I can find, unless you want a specific carrier and want to pay the additional costs, if there are any.
I ship everything insured with signature required for delivery for any item over $100. Sale tax is now required to be collected in some states.
There is nothing I can do about that.
------------------------------- Please check my feedback and other listings. -------------------------------- Always assume any used guitar you purchase online might need further setup to your personal preferences. If you have any questions, please message me and I will gladly answer them. All sales are final. No returns. Thanks.
