Peavey Rockmaster Guitar

  • Silver Sparkle finish
  • Built-In Electronic Tuner
  • Built-In Headphone Amp with Volume Knob, & Clean or Overdrive (O.D.) options (uses one 9-volt battery for tuner & headphone amp)
  • Upgraded to a super high output 16.33 ohm replacement humbucker pickup
  • Functionally this guitar is in perfect condition.  It plays & feels great, & all electronics work perfectly & quietly (including the tuner & headphone amp).
  • Cosmetically it's in great condition, with a few signs of wear, all of which can be seen in the photos.  The finish crack at the neck heel joint is only in the finish & does not extend into the wood of the body.  The two tiny holes on the back of the neck (down by the body, & on the back of the headstock) do not seem to serve any purpose or affect functionality in any way ('no idea why the previous owner would've made these two holes).
  • There's very little fret wear on the fretboard.
  • The guitar has just had a professional set-up: bridge saddle heights adjusted, pickup height adjusted, intonation set, etc.
  • Comes in the gig bag shown in the photos, which is unfortunately missing its main zipper (could be replaced) & does not currently stay closed without being strapped.

Please look carefully at all of the photos and feel free to contact me with any questions before buying.  In addition to my 100% 5-star feedback rating here on reverb.com, I also have a 20 year, 100% positive feedback rating on eBay (from nearly 1000 ratings--user name "scedro").

If you have less than 20 five star ratings here on Reverb, or if you have any ratings of less than five stars, please contact me before completing a purchase.

Finally:
The set-up on any guitar is subjective & a matter of personal taste, which of course varies for every player. While each instrument I sell is professionally set-up prior to being listed on Reverb, that set-up may not be exactly to your particular taste "right out of the box" & (as with any instrument that you buy anywhere) you should expect to possibly make adjustments to the action, string gauges, etc. to suit your exact tastes.
Further, after instruments are set-up & photographed for listing here on Reverb, they are detuned before storage to prevent undue stress on the neck. Then before shipping, all instruments are detuned further until the strings are almost "slack," as is recommended for safety during shipping. During the time that the instrument is detuned, if it has a truss rod, the neck will be pulled into a slight back-bow, as the strings are not providing the opposing force to maintain the usual slight relief (or flat position in some cases). When you receive the instrument, therefore, the strings may buzz at first because of this temporary slight back bow. Simply tune it up to proper pitch (440) & give it a few hours to adjust back to the proper string tension.
Also, because of differences in climate between Michigan & where the guitar is shipped to, as well as differences in season (temp./humidity) between when the set-up was performed & when the instrument was sold, the instrument may require minor adjustments (e.g. to the truss rod, etc.) upon arrival to you.
None of the above has any impact on & does not in any way relate to the "condition" of the guitar as specified in the above listing.
