Technics SU-C2000: A Japanese high-fidelity amp with outstanding sound!
The Technics SU-C2000, released in Japan in 1993, is a handsome high-fidelity stereo control amplifier. The SU-C2000 has a frequency response of 1 Hz to 120 kHz and an impressively low level of total harmonic distortion (<0.003% THD). Its input sensitivities are 0.15mV (MC), 2.5mV (MM), and 200mV (line). One salient feature is the unit’s virtual battery operation circuitry, which prevents interference and noise from the power source. The chassis uses THCB (Technics Hybrid Construction Base), with a hard rubber base and a copper plating chassis bottom, whereby vibrational interference is minimized. The SU-C2000 features gold-plated ins and outs as well as high-precision balanced circuitry for ins and outs. The SU-C2000 is a wonderful, quality unit with fantastic specs, a great design, and outstanding sound.
This unit is in very good condition, with some minor signs of age and use, including some minor scratches, scuffs, and yellowing (please see photos). This amplifier has been thoroughly checked and tested by our professional technician, who has confirmed its integrity and working condition.
