Overall condition is really good, with few cosmetic marks (can be seen in the pics).
Sold to me as 1960s, a recent enquiry from a potential purchaser has affirmed this.
Quality stands the test of time and there are some things that are difficult to replicate, like the sound of matured wood and this guitar does sound AMAZING!
I'm not sure of the actual materials used in the construction of this beautiful guitar (back/sides look like rosewood and top is probably spruce or cedar, under the orange tinted finish), but I do know it sounds amazing, with clear deep resonant tones...
It sounds awesome, another testament to Japanese workmanship and just plain gorgeous.
AND it comes with a hard case...
