My friend started his own company making drums. ARCHER DRUMS from California. This is a 5.5x14 STAVE design, 10-lugs, 30-piece Curly Maple shell, with a natural finish. It was the third drum he made, and he made it for me. Serial #0003. This drum is nice and resonant, bright, loud, with a decent crack sound to it. I wish I had more space so I could keep it. Archer makes great drums.
