Matamp GT120MV

Brilliant condition Matamp GT120 for sale. This is the Master Volume model, subjective but I believe to be better than non MV, more tonal capabilities at various controllable volumes. Rated RMS 120 watts clean power (so more on tap pushed) all tube (EL34 and 12AX7/ECC83) with parallel fx loop (different from modern fx loop). Purchased, handwired for and shipped to me by Matamp in the UK in 2019. Played exclusively by me in studio and live, treated with the upmost respect. Amp will come with brand new replacement set of tubes - Matched quad of JJ Tesla EL34’s and a pair of JJ Tesla 12AX7’s.

Custom ordered with black basket weave tolex, black chrome hardware, vintage black print on white faceplate, 3D CinemaScope front panel logo and black vintage round knobs.

This head is an absolute monster, capable of the classic Matamp tones it’s famous for - fuzzy, wall of sound, massive, low end and sustain for days - but is also an incredible pedal platform amp due to the massive amount of headroom available, especially due to the MV. Crystal clean at incredible volumes. The baxandall EQ allows for your to seriously shape the tone. I was able to get tight chugging tones boosted, shoegaze walls of reverb, indie rock tones, so much more.
