Classic S-type "Stratocaster" style JOHNSON by AXL electric guitar perfect for any range of musician from beginners to seasoned veterans. BEAUTIFUL transparent cherry finish (reminiscent of a Gibson/Epiphone Cherry finish) that lets the awesome wood grain body shine through front and back! A few dings and dents front and back (see last 4 photos of listing) along with the typical scuffing and wear of any guitar this age that was actually used to gig. Configured with three single coil pickups. One volume, two tone controls with 5-way switch. Bolt-on maple neck with maple fretboard. Full scale neck, 25.5 inch scale. 21 frets. Chromed, string through, tremolo bridge.

All of my guitars have been “set up” (neck straightness adjusted when possible, fingerboard oil treated (if rosewood/laurel), action set, pickup height optimized, intonation checked) to MY PERSONAL PREFERENCES. Please note: “setups” are not “one size fits all”. Your personal set up requirements might be different from mine, so, additional adjustments may be needed to suit your setup preferences. Also, for optimal sound and playing ease, I always advise buyers to put a new set of strings on the guitar, the string brand and gauge of their preference. If your guitar has a Tremolo Bridge DO NOT OVERTIGHT TREMOLO ARM WHEN YOU INSTALL THE ARM!!! YOU CAN DESTROY THE TREMOLO ARM BLOCK!!! I suggest you watch some YouTube videos about installing and using Tremolo Arms BEFORE YOU ATTEMPT TO INSTALL AND USE A Tremolo Arm.

      To protect the guitar from damage, the string tension will be relieved before shipping per Reverb.com requirements. You'll need to tune the guitar to pitch when it arrives.
