When I got this guitar, it was unplayable. Needed a refret, and numerous other issues. After discovering it had a maple body, instead of the typical poplar, I decided to do a translucent purple nitro job on it. Frosted the tips with copper and black. There is also some bits of mica in the finish to give it a slight sparkle. Made the guard, and the copper control plate. All new wiring. Original P12 pickup. Trem is a Wilkinson with the heavy steel block. I Threaded it, so it will accept a large screw in bar. The neck I refretted with massive Jescar 57110 frets. They are HUGE. Also stained the neck black, and cleared with nitro. New bone nut. Sperzel locking tuners. The guitar is not perfect. There are some finish flaws and a surface crack in the body that I sealed up and left. Been that way for a decade. It's not gonna break or cause any problems. Aside from that, the guitar rips. You sure ain't gonna find another one like it. No case. ---------------------------------------------------------
