Made in my shop in Maine.
Awesome body, just been sitting for a
couple years and I’m not planning to finish it as I’m really making only
set neck stuff now. I don't have a neck made for it and no longer plan to make one. It's completely wired and ready to rock with the addition of a neck. The neck pocket exactly fits the bolt pattern and shape of a telecaster neck heel. However, there are a couple important differences.
One: The neck pocket is 3/4" deep rather than the usual 5/8" fender depth. So in order to use an existing Tele/Strat neck you will need to shim it to bring the heel up and to give a slight angle appropriate for the wraparound bridge. I think that two or three of the neck pocket shims that Stewmac sells stacked up will do the trick - Or you could of course make a nice fitted shim out of maple or ebony or the like.
Two: The bridge location is intended for a 24.75" scale neck. So intonation would be off with a typical 25.5" fender tele neck. A 24.75" Warmoth conversion neck may work perfectly, I'm just not positive on that. You'd have to try it. A fully adjustable wraparound bridge will also swap right onto the existing studs. A Warmoth 24.75" conversion neck and a fully adjustable wraparound may be the ticket, again just not positive. You could alternatively make your own neck. You could even relocate the bridge if necessary.
