Very rare Pearl OD-05 Overdrive made in Japan.
"During the early 1980s the Pearl Company (Japan) made a great line of guitar pedals. These pedals were of outstanding quality and were produced by a company called "KLM" (all circuit boards were labeled with this name). The overdrive can best be compared to an Ibanez Tubescreamer with extra gain and the addition of a semi-parametric equalizer.
"The Pearl OD-05 is a sleeper and is worth looking out for. It has two JRC4558 chips inside ala the Ibanez Tubescreamer and can produce the sound of the TS-808 without the loss of bottom end. The EQ is pre-drive and provides for a ton of sound options. Single coil or humbuckers sound full and meaty through this pedal, very SRV taste.

"The equalizer on the OD-05 has a frequency range of 100Hz-4KHz and gain of +/- 15dB allowing you to select various tone colors."

  • EQ Gain adjusts the level of the equalizer.
  • Frequency sets the frequency at which the equalizer effect performs.
