Make me an offer on this vintage 1970s case. If only it could talk…Appears to have been used by a working musician because it looks authentically road worn. It is listed in “fair” condition. However, it is perfectly functional and some would argue it should be categorized as “good.” It would complement your vintage guitar very well. It is also a nice piece for the collector and could serve as a stage prop, film prop, part of a museum display or to tote your Chicago typewriter around with you. This has mojo in spades!

It is a black chipboard hard case that is just under 41 ¼” in length and just over 13 ½” in width at its widest point. Please measure your guitar carefully before purchasing this case. Send a message if you would like more measurements. I am not responsible if you fail to measure your guitar and the case does not fit. I can say it fits my two Stratocasters.

Please study the photographs that accompany this listing closely. They are clear and were taken close-up in good lighting. They are a part of the description of this case. What matters is that you make a close examination of my photographs and decide for yourself on the condition of the case.

The case is sold as is. Only if damaged in shipping can it be returned in which case shipping protection insurance from Reverb.com, which is included in the shipping price, and why the shipping cost is set where it is, will cover it. Otherwise all purchases are final. No exchanges.

Please message with any questions you have and I will be happy to help you.

The reason why there is a mention of an "order" on the listing is that a person bought the case before I realized that if I shipped the case to California it would cost me almost $73 to ship. Since I had it listed with a $20 shipping charged I had to cancel the order because I would have lost almost $50 on the deal. If you live closer to me here in Massachusetts than California it will cost less to ship it and so I will charge you less and only what I pay for shipping.
