This is a pre-owned CP Thornton Bass serial number B-026 in excellent condition. There are a few minor "dings" on the body. The control plate has a few minor scratches and slight pitting. Frets are in excellent condition. Comes with two extra pickguards - one is tortoise and the other is flame maple. This guitar plays great and sounds absolutely amazing! Another masterpiece from master luthier Chuck Thornton.
"My concept for this instrument was to design a modern bass with a vintage vibe." ~ Chuck Thornton

"To date I have personally built hundreds of guitars and basses. With CP Thornton Guitars, I am fulfilling a lifetime dream… to create heirloom quality instruments for musicians who seek that rare balance between breathtaking beauty and engineering excellence, instruments that are at the same time a work of art, and the means to producing art. I have so many people to thank for helping me live my dream but none more than my loyal and enthusiastic clients, the players, the men and women who put their souls into their music using the instruments I’ve put my soul into. I’m not mentioning all of your names, but you know who you are, and I thank you for believing in me and supporting me.
Guitar playing is something I developed through discipline and enjoy immensely. If you’re lucky enough to find your true gift, however, the talent flows effortlessly. For me, building guitars is that gift." - Chuck Thornton
