Here's a cool older Guild acoustic-electric from
1992. The label says it is an F30CE, but the specs indicate it is actually a higher line model, the F45CE.
This is a slimmer body acoustic with cutaway and Fishman
electronics mounted onto the side. The gloss black finish is very cool -
you normally see these in natural finish. The back and sides are maple, ad the top is spruce. The fretboard has 24 frets. The scale length is 24-3/4 inches.
Playability and sound is great, both acoustically and plugged in. No issues with action or tone.
Cosmetically, the guitar has normal handling and play wear. The most notable blemish is a ding in the top below the bridge. There are no cracks in the wood or repairs. It looks like a gold strap pin was added.
The original hardshell case has the Guild logo and is in good overall condition with normal scrapes you would expect.
If you know anything about these Rhode Island Guilds, you know they represent an incredible value on the used market. This is a cool model is an uncommon color, and it would be a great instrument for playing at home, live, or in the studio.
