Here's a rare 1992 Pensa Customs Classic 4-string bass, the in-house builders for Rudy's Music in New York City. Each of these instruments are handmade (usually made to order) and boast a sizable list of celebrity players from Mark Knopfler to Eric Clapton, so here's your chance to own one at a more player-friendly price! The neck pocket dates this bass to December of 1992. It boasts two Bartolini pickups that can be switched between passive or active that, along with a two-band EQ, gives a wide range of tone. Volume knob controls both pickups, and the the pickup knob allows you to blend between the two pickups. The neck is straight, with low easy action, and the frets show hardly any wear. Brass nut, and measures 1 1/2" wide. This model also has a bass extender/D-tuner system on the low E tuner (possibly aftermarket).
Overall cosmetic condition is VG+ save, for two small nicks on either side of the body, pictured. Will ship in a gig bag, professionally set up with strings of your choice.
