More information can be found online searching under: Picador Trademark and Under CF Martin Sigma guitars. Special and unusual models. In a nutshell Picador guitars were Sigma Guitars built by CF Martin & Company and a few Martin guitars, that due to usually minor cosmetic defects, were simply rebadged under the Picador Trademark. These guitars were made in Japan, Korea and in the later years from Indonesia from CF Martin templates.
After stating all of that, this guitar plays and sound wonderful. Very easy to handle with a great low setup.
