Blues-rock guitar hero Joe Bonamassa, also a collector of the world’s greatest vintage guitars and amplifiers, has toured and recorded with late ‘50s “high-powered” Fender Twin amps for many years. After testing several prototypes of a prospective Fender signature model, he pronounced them “great-sounding and torture tested” and gave his approval. The new ’59 Twin Amp JB Edition combines Joe’s favorite features in a wonderful new model that is sure to appeal to JB fans, collectors and professional guitarists everywhere.
The ’59 Twin-Amp JB Edition is designed and built to Joe Bonamassa’s specifications.

Classic 80-watt Fender 5F8-A circuit, handwired on eyelet board
Four 6L6 power tubes; One 5AR4 rectifier tube; three 12AX7 preamp tubes
Fender Vintage “Yellow” paper-foil-resin tone capacitors
Two 12” Celestion™ JB85 signature speakers for high-powered rock tone
Custom transformers by Mercury Magnetics™
Solid pine cabinet
Late ‘50s Tweed covering and grille cloth
Chrome control panel with “chicken head” knobs
Steel-reinforced leather handle
Lightly distressed “mint minus” cosmetic treatment
Vintage style cloth cover included
Each amp is individually serialized as “JB0001, JB0002,” etc. (embossed into the chassis)
