This is a very cool National Newport 88, made by Valco in the USA in 1965. These guitars have fantastic sounding resoglass bodies and the pickups are sound great for blues, rock, and garage music. This guitar shows play wear but is in very nice shape for its age. It is all original except for 1 knob and there is one filled hole in the top near the master volume pot. Also the Piezo pickup (3rd position on the 3 way switch) does not work. It has been pro-setup and it is in excellent playing condition. It comes with a non original hard case.
