About This Listing

Powered by the PedalPCB Mahayana Drive board, this is a pedal inspired by (i.e. a clone of) the Hermida Audio Zendrive, a highly-regarded overdrive pedal that apparently sounds like a Dumble amp. I don't know what a Dumble really sounds like, but I know what this pedal sounds like: awesome. The pedal features four controls: Volume, Drive, Tone, and Voice, similar to the original model. There is a wide variety of tonal possibilities, from an edge-of-breakup feel, to thick overdrive and light distortion territory.

But the most important part here is that I put Ben Franklin on a guitar pedal. Ben rhymes with Zen, so it makes sense from that angle. And at this price, it's cheaper than taping a $100 bill to your board. Runs off a standard 9V center-negative DC power supply. (No internal battery connection.)

Quality Jones pedals are handmade in Michigan, as a result of therapeutic evenings tinkering around with electronics. Your purchases help keep me building, and offering budget options to those who may not be handy with electronics.
