The 46/58 pickups allude to the introduction years of P90s and Jazzmaster pickups respectively. Not to be confused with the usual P90s under Jazzmaster covers, these are a true blend of both designs while keeping the vintage Jazzmaster look. The goal was to bring out the full potential of these uniquely large pickups. The tone has the super chime of Jazzmasters, but with less compression and a much broader range. If you like Jazzmasters, you'll love these.
