The Selmer Mark VI is well-known as the most legendary saxophone ever made:

This particular Mark VI was made in 1969, with a serial number in the 160,000 range (close-up pic of serial number is attached). I recently had the saxophone professionally serviced, and then provided it to an office colleague for a test drive. This individual attended the University of Michigan, where he earned a Saxophone Performance Major, and he remains a very active sax player to this day. He himself is not in the market for a new horn, but he raved about my Mark VI and is speaking with some of his active musician friends who might be interested. Also, am including the original case, which is a GREAT vintage item (although the zipper admittedly has seen better days).

I am seeing comparable Mark VI's online that have sold for upwards of $8000. But in the hopes of getting this into an active player's hands sooner rather than later, I am listing for MUCH less! Thank you in advance for your consideration, and please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions!
