This ROM set is only compatible with the first revision EPS classic, not the EPS 16 Plus.
The actual EPS unit is not for sale, only the 2.40 ROM upgrade chips will be supplied.
To put rumors to rest – As long as your EPS has ROM version 2.00 installed, it is not necessary to upgrade to ROM version 2.40 to utilize OS 2.49.
