2000 Jackson Custom Shop Zoraxe #1
THE ACTUAL Nintendo Sweepstakes Guitar!

WOW! Easily one of the most rare, exotic guitars ever created, the Jackson Custom Shop Zoraxe was commissioned by Nintendo as a grand prize for a sweepstakes giveaway in 2000. Meticulously hand-carved by the talented Dan Lawrence, this 7-string beast is modeled after the "Guitar of Waves" featured in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask video game and is just incredible in every detail.

For all the Nintendo/Zelda fans who remember the pictures... yes indeed, THIS IS THE ACTUAL SWEEPSTAKES GUITAR! Number 1 of 3! It is my understanding that it was also featured at the Jackson booth at the NAMM shows in that time period as well so you never know, you may have seen it back in the day! With a few additional guitars being produced after the original run of 3, internet folklore has it there is a mere total of 7 in existence... and this is the original they are all based on... Number 1... The REAL ZORAXE!   Rrrraarrrrr!

I was lucky enough to acquire the guitar from the sweepstakes winner (who was not a guitarist) in the early 2000s. It is in collector condition, as received, only out of the case once in a while over the years to show friends, and for a few moments of growling sonic brutality! Yes, while some might not guess it, it is truly a GREAT playing instrument that sounds AMAZING. The body/neck wood is resonate and tonally rich, offering a low B growl any Metal or Djent player would present with pride. The neck is very comfortable and fast, and due to the light density of the wood, even with a larger than normal body, it is a comfortable 9 lbs 15oz that is well-balanced both sitting and on a strap.  It was just restrung with a fresh set of D'Addario .009-.054 and is ready to terrorize your neighbors! :)

If you can do a local transaction... that would be the best scenario to remove the shipping cost/risk, and it would be nice to meet the new owner as this isn't just selling some old guitar.

Includes the Jackson Zoraxe #1, original hardshell case, stock strap-lock buttons, original hang-tag, sweepstakes winner letter/docs, and an older copy (some wear) of one of the magazines I managed to find with it featured in the ad for the Nintendo Power sweepstakes giveaway.

This is an opportunity that you likely won't encounter twice! Super rare, super cool, the ultimate 7-string!  The Holy Grail for any Zelda collector, and as a Djent monster for the daring guitarist... you CAN NOT BEAT IT!  Treat yourself! :) Don't miss out!
