The most notable thing with this one is the Paulownia body. The birdseye maple fretboard is definitely going to get your attention too, but that lightweight body is what all the excitement is about. In a world where everyone seems to be looking for lightweight instruments, you can only chamber a guitar so much to alleviate the weight before it starts to impact the tone and quality of the body. Paulownia, also known as empress wood, has a lot of similar tonal properties to swamp ash but at a fraction of the weight and doesn't need to be chambered at all, so you get the true sound of a solidbody guitar. It's bright and snappy without being brittle at the top end and overall will sound very familiar for most players.

A beautiful Paulownia Classic S body, available in Trans Sonic Blue, Trans 3 Tone Burst, Trans Seafoam Green, and Trans White, all with tortoise shell pickguards. Paired with a 3A Roasted Birdseye Maple ’60’s C vintage standard’ neck and fingerboard with heavy stainless-steel frets. A Suhr V63 pickup in the neck and middle positions, and a Suhr DSV humbucker in the bridge with a 5-way blade pickup selector, and a Gotoh 510 with bent saddles and steel block.
