It is time to open the vault and release this gorgeous and faultless time capsule. It breaks my heart to put this on the market, but it deserves to be owned by some lucky player or collector who will play it as well as appreciate it. This 1960s ES 355 TDSV closet queen is dead mint and has been is storage since 1980. It has a very low 4 digit serial number. There is no Factory Order Number inside the f hole. It is all original and really looks brand new with the exception of the patina on the gold plating (Bigsby, Grover Patent Pending roto-matic tuners, strap buttons, switchcraft pickup selector grommet ring etc).  The finish is glossy, gleaming  and as new with barely any wear. It has the short pickguard with no acetone degradation. It has the slimline 1960 neck. The nut is 1 11/16" wide. Very comfortable to play no matter what size hands you have, and NOT the baseball bat neck from the 1959 first year. Yet, it is not the very slim 60’s neck. it's about 12/16" depth at the first fret and the octave 12th fret. Perfect, and best of both worlds for any player.

Clean PAFs with PAF stickers present and intact and stop tailpiece stud nuts are also present and under the "Custom Made" plaque, Bigsby, Grovers, early 60s pat# bridge, yellow catalin bakelite toggle switch tip, black Top Hat Knobs without the reflectors and the original brown case, all original from Gibson Kalamazoo, Mi. The only item not original is the case handle. As expected, There is a serial number stamped on the rear of the headstock. And the backside is almost flawless too and the finish is unmolested without any bucklerash. Amazing for a guitar over 65 years old! A rare special guitar in exceptional condition for a special new owner.
