Made with NOS green-enameled Belden wire, U.S. magnetic coil, and NOS long-bar Alnico magnets, custom-gaussed for Old Glory tones!
Hand-wound, scatter-wound by Díaz – General Vintage Tone.
Original, vintage-correct materials only!
- Butyrate bobbins, double black, made from authentic CAB (Cellulose Acetate Butyrate).
- Correct tool marks on bobbins.
- Selected steel baseplates and accurate 1950s-style slugs.
- Outputs: 8.2–8.4KΩ (bridge) / 7.5–7.8KΩ (neck) with ±5% tolerance.
- NOS Alnico magnets in both neck and bridge, with special custom gauss charge.
- Accurately aged finish!
Built and voiced as one of the most faithful reproductions of the best-sounding, unmistakable vintage character of the 1959 PAFs ever made.
Constructed using the correct components — smooth enamel wire, vintage-formula Alnico magnets, and black cables properly configured according to our original reference PAFs.
All pickups include custom-built Alnico magnets for a true vintage tone.
Available in double black, double blonde, or zebra coils — made with the correct butyrate material and true vintage color (not white, not cream, just the perfect match to the originals).
With the special square window cutouts in the correct vintage position!
Vintage-correct 2-wire braided shield cable, vintage-correct PAF baseplate, copper coil screws — everything chosen to reproduce one of the most inspiring tones ever made. Truly wonderful.
