Cool old Silverstone from 1960s Japan. Top o' the line fancy and the tones are fine.
This is one sharp looking axe with it's German carve bound body, fast and low neck action and those triple "Hound Dog Taylor" pickups, a great player and looker.
The decades have wrought some changes and wear including some repaired headstock shenanigans as shown in the photos.
All pickups work and sound great, their three switches ditto. The three volume controls do work on each pickup but they seem to be linked together and if one is all the way down/off they all go off, (you just set them like you want and switch them in and out with the switches which is kinda odd but works). The tone control doesn't seem to do anything and the solo switch the same.
Control knobs are not original and there is no tremolo bar.
All in and all quirks considered this is a cool sounding and playing guitar that looks fantastic!
