Soundcraft 600 mixing console

Up for sale is a Soundcraft 600 analog in-line mixing counsel in excellent condition.

It has 24 channels of inputs, 8 busses, 6 auxiliary sends, and stereo output.  The board is completely modular.  The operating level is set to +4 dBu, but can also be set to -10.  This mixer has been well maintained and cared for and is all around in excellent operating condition.  Cosmetically it is in good shape as well with minor blemishes.  Please note that the left side wood panel is missing some of the black veneer.  Also, there are two blue aux send knobs missing.  Please let me know if you have any questions or if you would like to inspect the mixer in person in Chicago.

Every input channel has the following features:

phantom power, pad, line/mic, gain, high pass filter (switchable on/off @ 100 hz, four band EQ (switchable on/off), aux sends (switchable pre and post), mix on/off, buss assign, channel on/off, peak LED indicator, and PFL solo (switchable on/off).  Direct out and inserts available on every channel.

The EQ has the following characteristics:

• HF 15 dB of boost or cut at 10K
• HI Mid variable 600Hz to 10KHz, 15 dB boost or cut
• Lo Mid variable 150Hz to 2.4KHz, 15 dB boost or cut
• LF 15 dB of boost or cut at 60Hz

Routing:

• 6 aux sends
• 8 busses
• PFL (solo, routes pre-fader level to master section)

The Aux sends:

• 6 sends (note only four can be sent from a single channel strip),
• Switchable:
• Pre-EQ and Pre-Fade
• Post-EQ and Pre-Fade
• Post-EQ and Post-Fade

Busses and Tape Returns

• Tape returns and busses are adjustable on the group out modules.  8 busses, however they are routed to two sets of outputs, which makes for 16 outputs via the 8 busses.  16 channels of tape returns (or outputs of your ad/da converter), eq section and aux sends on all the returns, as well as pan and volume (note that the tape returns are routed to input channels 1-16 when line level is selected on the input channels, which correspond to the 16 LED bar meters.  This makes transition from tracking to mixing streamlined.
