Elk Deluxe Jaguar 1965 Olympic White

Up for your consideration is a very rare circa 1965 ELK Deluxe Jaguar in a beautifully aged Olympic white finish.

Handmade by Mr Takahiro Saito in very limited runs, these guitars are highly sought after in Japan.

This one is his high end model with all the nice appointments such as block inlays, double neck binding and a classy black lacquered headstock with chrome logo.

All the electronics work as they should. Control switches activate neck pickup, bridge pickup, and bass cut. Original handwound pickups sound truly amazing, very similar to vintage jaguar pickups.

An interesting feature of this model is the scale length itself: it is slightly longer than a traditional jaguar, giving the instrument a tighter bass response. If you like the classic jaguar aesthetics but want a bigger sound, this guitar will take you there.

Guitar is all original, except for the addition of a new stewmac roller bridge for increased sustain and improved playability. Original bridge will be included.
