For sale: Empath Electronics Frequency Tripling Crossover Distortion

This is an interesting boutique pedal modeled after the early ZVEX crossover distortion circuit. It clips at the center of the waveform (i.e., around zero voltage) as opposed to traditional distortion circuits, which clip at max voltage. This makes for a bizarre, squelchy sound that is truly unique. By no means a go-to stomp box, but makes for a cool effect when you’re trying to go off the rails a little bit.
