About This Listing

This hard to find model was hand-crafted by Ryoji Matsuoka in Nagoya, Japan.  It offers an aged German solid spruce top of the highest quality, with solid Indian Rosewood back and sides.  The inside of this instrument is lacquered for excellent resonance.  The fingerboard is made of the finest pure ebony available.  The guitar features an authentic traditional Spanish one piece neck.  A beautiful hand-varnished cashew lacquer finish has been applied.  The machine heads are 24 carat gold plated.

The guitar was built in 1978, and played for only 2 years.  It has been meticulously cared for, both while being played and while being stored.  It has outstanding projection, with very sweet, clear treble notes, and deep, resonating bass notes.  The guitar is virtually flawless.
