In 1957 Rickenbacker introduced the combo 850 model. A natural progression from the Combo 600 and 800 models and a precursor to the iconic John Lennon, 325 model with its  “double cutaway” body shape. The combo 850 has two pickups; one horseshoe bridge pickup and one “toaster” pickup in the neck position. It also has a “German carved” top, the alternative “saxophone” strap fixing (a circular chrome disc on the back of the upper horn, mounted over a recess). This is a very clean example, with just a few age related mojo marks. A very playable design classic from the legendary Roger Rossmeisl.

I don't need to tell you how rare these are, especially in the UK! Probably the most sought after Rickenbacker with collectors the world over. It's in fantastic condition with only a few minor dings. It sounds AMAZING and comes complete with original Rickenbacker hard shell case.
