This Fernandes “The Revival” Strat ca. 80/90s is a killer axe in great playing shape. An awesome MIJ build, this guitar is quite Fendery à la ‘57 design, down to the detail on the headstock. The bridge and middle pick up are not original but fully functioning to deliver the snappy, springy, single coil goodness you deserve. The neck is straight and quick with nice action--a joy to play.
Cosmetically, the guitar is in very good condition. Nicks, dings, scratches and patina in all the right places. Skin deep and easily overlooked when you’re plugged and playing. Super cool motif with the black controls and pickups against the white pick guard! If you were confronted by a gang of nasty, territorial surfers, this guitar would step up, punch ‘em out then teach you the secrets of the ocean.
