Starting life as a brand new Les Paul Special VE, she has been completely gone through with some very cool and useful mods. Starting with her twin Alnico 5 Humbucker pickups and a heavy-duty 3-way toggle switch that compliments her flawless walnut body and maple and mat black neck. Ready for any musical situation, a pair of ‘push-push’ controls for volume and tone put coil-splitting either pickup at your fingertips. Action is low, smooth, and fast, with a set of D’Addario XL Regular Light 10s. The custom-cut pickguard and precision vintage keystone machine heads proudly show off her Gibson heritage. And she comes complete and ready to go with a hard-shell case, strap, cable, tuner, extra strings, capo, and picks. Your first guitar, player, studio, or stage, Rene is a great guitar and a very special Les Paul Special!
