Here is a Matsumoku-built guitar that plays really well! The Westone Spectrum SX was first introduced in 1985 and built until 1987. The Spectrum SX features a solid maple body with a hard maple neck and fingerboard. This guitar has a double locking Bendmaster FT trem with fine tuners. Electronics are two Magnaflux IV single coils and a Magnaflux II UBC humbucker routed to a single volume control and two controls. The middle tone control is a push-pull for phase reverse and the volume control is a push-pull coil tap.
This guitar is in decent condition. It does have nicks and dings throughout the body. There is a ding on the neck at the first fret where the paint has worn off. The headstock has a few spots that the paint has worn off. The backplate is missing from the tremolo cavity. There is an older top-mounted input jack on the face of the guitar, but it has been by a screw-on cap. The original side-mounted input jack is the current functional one. The trem arm is also missing from the guitar.
