About This Listing

“The Roland XV-3080 128-Voice Synthesizer Module is based on the best-sounding, most expressive and expandable new synthesizer architecture in Roland history. This workhorse module offers 128 voices, true stereo waveforms per tone, expressive Matrix Control, expandability via new 64MB SRX- and popular SR-JV80-Series wave expansion boards and a host of new studio-quality effects. Once again, Roland redefines the standard of professional synthesisers.”

The XV-3080 builds on the success of the JV-1080 and JV-2080, but has greater polyphony (128 vs 64), more expandability and better effects.

It has four slots for the standard SR-JV80 expansion boards plus two slots for the later SRX boards, making it compatible for a wide range of expansions.

This unit includes the following expansion cards, which are already currently installed:

DANCE SR-JV80-96 (RARE expansion board!!)
ORCHESTRA SR-JV80-02
TECHNO COLLECTION SR-JV80-11
VINTAGE SYNTH SR-JV80-04

This XV-3080 was taken from a studio that closed down in the mid-2000’s and has been in storage since. It has recently been serviced in July 2021 by a vintage synth and musical instrument engineer - full test carried out, new battery, encoders & pots lubricated and reset to factory settings.

Cosmetically it’s in great condition with just the usual wear as to be expected from used studio equipment (wear from rack mounting, etc) - but nothing that could be classed as damage.

Item will be packed securely and sent via UPS insured for the full value (hence increased shipping prices). Just the unit and the 4 x installed expansion cards as mentioned above will be included, there is no original box, instructions or extras.
