The Vintage Series is a popular series from Byrne that is plenty versatile for a variety of playing applications. He used to be here in IL and is now located in Ohio. He has an excellent touch and really crafts wonderful and unique sounding cymbals. I have been a fan of his work for quite awhile and we are really pleased to have these in our shop. Jazz players will LOVE these. They have some of the sonic characteristics that are found in the original Spizzichino cymbals; lots of "color" and wash, but still a good balance between wash and stick definition. You can pull so many sounds from these! Great stuff!
