David Gilmour Custom Fender Stratocaster 57 Reissue 1999/2012 Candy Apple Red Pink Floyd Package

Up for sale is a nice David Gilmour Pink Floyd 57 Reissue Fender Stratocaster in Candy Apple Red.  This Guitar was custom built to replicate the Candy Apple Red Strat that David Gilmour used for years before he went back to his Signature Black Strat.  This strat is a combination of 1999 Fender 57 Reissue Neck and 2012 Fender 57 Reissue Body.  All the parts bridge, pickguard, tremolo cover, strap buttons, trem arm, tuners, string trees etc are all Fender 57 Reissue parts.  Also included you get the shortened Tremolo arm just like the one that Gilmour uses but you also get the regular Fender 57 Reissue tremolo arm.  As a bonus you get the Pink Floyd CD Box set, Pulse 2 CD/ DVD Set, Making of Dark Side of the Moon DVD,  and The Wall DVD.  All CD's/DVD's are either gently used or sealed and new.   As an added bonus you also get an Adult XXL size Pink Floyd THE Wall T-shirt.  This shirt is new and has never been worn.  
The guitar was built to David Gilmour Specs including all the neck with its soft V-shape and 7.25 radius.  The neck is straight with standard 57 Reissue frets along with the Fender Vintage tuners this guitar really plays like a dream.  
The body features a nice bright Candy Apple Red Nitro finish along with a nice comfortable feel this guitar is easy to handle.  
Finally, the guitar is equipped with a custom set of DG20 EMG Pickups and pots.  These active pickups really nail that Floyd sound and give even more tonal options when it comes to Strat playing and sound.  
Overall this guitar is in mint condition and has never been gigged or hardly taken out of the case.  Oh I almost forgot that the guitar is housed in a Fender Custom Shop David Gilmour Hard Case.  This case alone is a $300 value.

EMG SA pickups
The EMG SA is an active single coil loaded with an Alnico V bar magnet that provides a vintage Strat single coil sound: bright, airy, with a rich bottom end. With internal shielding and a low impedance preamp, you get virtually noiseless operation at a higher output level so that all the tone makes it to your amp. Additionally, the Alnico V bar magnet allows for the output to remain balanced during string bends, and makes for a playability and reliability that is unrivaled. The creamy mid-range warmth and sublime blues tones are clear, strong and expressive, and allow you to reach from classic and clean, to rowdy and raunchy. 

"Strat Presence Control"
The SPC or "Strat Presence Control" is often called the fat control. The original intent of the SPC was to turn the tone of a single-coil pickup into a dual-coil. This is accomplished by boosting the gain in a broad mid-band fashion and reducing the highs. The result is a fatter, louder tone from any single coil pickup, but you can also use it on a humbucking to give you a high output, really fat tone that's great for slide guitar.

EXG Guitar Expander
For flexibility in tone at your fingertips look to the EXG Guitar Expander. The frequency response of the EXG is similar to normal guitar amp equalization. The lows and highs are boosted while the midrange is dipped out.
