About This Listing

1969 Marshall Super Lead 100W Modified

One of the earliest amps of the post-plexi era, this legendary and iconic head doesn't need to be introduced anymore. This one was modified in the mid 90's by Valve House, in Paris, France, and now incorporates a cascade gain stage, a master volume, a penthode/triode switch and a full/half power switch, making it quite versatile, with a delightful Ken Fischer Trainwreck flavor.
I'm selling this amp because I'm not playing it anymore, my sound evolved in some much more lo-fi territories, and I'm trying to make some room.
The amp is not in what one would call "mint condition", it has scratches and dings, the red tolex remains on the front and back panels only, the rest of the head is stripped, exposing the dark birch ply, which to my taste looks quite nice and matches the red and gold in an elegant way. It comes with a matched quad of JJ EL34 Power tubes.
No shipping, local pickup only.

Thanks
Vic
