Offering a vintage 1940's era AMPERITE Model CDH Microphone. The CDH is perhaps the rarest of the Amperite line and very rarely comes up for sale. The physical condition of this one is good, with some mild chrome wear and a recent restoration with new paint on the rear portion of the all metal casing. The output is good with a vintage fidelity favoring mid to highs with a low end roll-off. (Voice sample provided on request.) The on-off switch functions smoothly, the pivot joint holds the tilt angle firmly, the stand threads are clear and undamaged, and the Amperite maker's badge is readable. This mic has been re-wired to a short 2 foot cable with male 1/4" phono plug, and includes the desk stand as shown. Overall height is 10.5". ** Always safe secure packaging and fast fair shipping.
