1995 Ted Thompson T1 Deluxe Indian Rosewood and Cedar Acoustic Guitar

Up for sale is this 1995 Ted Thompson T1 Deluxe. It features: 

• Indian rosewood back/sides
• Cedar top
• 15 and 3/4" lower bout
• Maple binding
• Ebony bridge and fretboard
• Rosewood headplate
• Sperzel tuners
• 1 and 7/8" nut, 25.5" scale

Every few months, a guitar comes through the shop that just knocks my socks off, and this Thompson is currently that guitar. This one is a real sleeper - it has a very simple aesthetic and feel, but as soon as you strum an open G chord, the heavens open up and angels start blasting trumpets. I don't think I've ever heard a box this size that puts out so much volume and vibrancy. It has a simple fundamental, with just a tiny bit of layered color from the cedar. I'll also point out the 1 and 7/8" nut, which will give you fingerstyle players plenty of room to work. Comes with original hardshell case. 

Cosmetically, this guitar is in good to very good condition. There are a few impressions and scrapes on the softer cedar top that I couldn't photograph, and it shows very light playwear expected of a 20-year-old guitar.
