Now this is one rare '58 Reissue! Made for Sam Ash in 2000 in very limited quantities these very rarely come on the market. A '58 reissue with ebony finish and a light back. Much more commonly seen with a plain sunburst, or goldtop. This one is a great player and setup with a low action. The neck is thick and chunky like an R7. One of the bigger, rounder profiles that Gibson has ever used. Chunky neck players….this if for you. Looking for a 60’s grip, or slim tapper? Keep looking, we have guitars with tapered profiles also. This one is for the “as big a neck as it gets” set. The guitar comes with the original Gibson case. Very nicely kept clean example, even for the notoriously “shows every flaw” black lacquer finish.
